Our Process for Designing Custom Websites

At Nirvana Canada, our process for designing custom websites starts and ends with you! We know that in order for a website to be successful, it needs to meet your unique needs and be an accurate reflection of your business.

Step One: Meeting

We get right to work by focusing on what you want to accomplish. In our initial meeting, we may be asking questions and madly taking notes in order to capture all of your ideas and desires. Once we have everything noted, we can start making a plan.

Step Two: Wireframing

The next step in our process for designing custom websites is called wireframing. Don’t let the name throw you off. A website wireframe is like a screen blueprint or page schematic. Basically, it is a visual guide that represents the framework of a website. Wireframes allow us to arrange elements to best accomplish a certain purpose. Once the wireframing is completed, we have a better idea of the layout direction. Even though we are not playing with colours or font styles right now, this is an important part of creating a website.

Step Three: Style tile

Most businesses have a style guide they follow for their corporate branding. Style tiles build on this corporate branding and will include fonts, colours, iconography and button styles. As part of our process for designing unique websites, we will develop style tiles that are right for your website and that conform to your company’s style.

Step Four: Designing

Once we have listened to what you are looking for in a website and created a blueprint for it, then we’re ready to start designing! Our team of design experts will help your website stand out from the competition. Step Five: Client Review

Once we have some ideas ready, it’s fun for us to show those ideas off. We can upload and view the website pages as they will appear on your computer once they are live.
