The Challenge
Vortex Restaurant Equipment is a leading provider of restaurant and commercial kitchen equipment in Greater Vancouver and throughout British Columbia. With a retail store based in Vancouver, they came to us with a simple, outdated e-commerce platform that no longer matched the scale of their business.
Design Direction
We redesigned the storefront around clarity and trust — a clean, responsive layout that makes a large equipment catalogue easy to browse, search, and buy from. Product information stays front and centre, giving the brand a modern, professional presence that stands up to its reputation.
Development
Built on WordPress, the rebuilt store opened Vortex up to national shipping and drove an increase in sales for the company. Nirvana has managed and supported the platform for 5+ years — keeping it fast, current, and aligned with the business as it grows.
